New Makeup Haul

Okay so when it comes to my makeup I like to look natural but I still want my eyeshadow to show up.  Usually I wear browns and golds just because they go with everything but I've been meaning to expand my array of shadow colors but I've been skeptical about spending too much money on something that I might not like.  So last weekend was our state fair and I walked around all of the vendors and came upon one where they had a ton of cheap makeup.  All of their nail polishes were a dollar each and shadow palettes were around 2 and 3 dollars.  I ended up buying two nail polishes.  One was a Crackle one in a deep blue color and the other was a regular polish that was like a hot pink color.  Of course I had to try them right away so I applied the hot pink first.  It was weird because when it dried it looked like I used a marker to do my nails but that didn't bother me at all.  Next I applied the crackle one and it dried just the same as the other one and it actually did crack.  My only downside about these was that I took a shower like the day after and the polish came off so easy!  I expect my polish to last longer than a day so I was pretty disappointed.  I would not recommend these unless you want to keep doing touch ups.
The next thing I bought from that makeup vendor was an eyeshadow palette from a brand I've never heard of called Amuse.  I bought this because I've been wanting a good glittery shadow.  I usually use a brush to apply and blend my shadow but you can't with these.  These are pretty much like a cream shadow that you can apply with your fingers but I just used the sponge it came with.  This takes some practice to get used to.  All in all I love this shadow.  The color is pretty intense and I like the shimmer.  I would definitely recommend it!!
So that's it and thanks for reading!! =)

I Love Her! One of my icons

Okay so I just wanted to take some time and say I absolutely love Kat!  She is very inspirational and an Amazing artist!  I love all the work she's done and my hopes are to be able to be able to draw as well as she does.  I love how she can be so successful and be almost completely covered in tattoos!  And lastly but not least,  I think she is very gorgeous with or without her tattoos.  One of my few icons.

Checkout Kat's book!

Haha! Nice Try!

Okay so today my boyfriend and I went out of town to go shopping and stuff.  Well we decided to go to the mall.  Well I got into the mall and things were going good until this lady at a hair kiosk made me bothered me to come try her straightener.  I thought well I'll just let her talk and see what she says.  The straightener was called a Herstyler.  I had never heard of this brand before.  The lady sat me down and started doing my hair.  After she straightened my hair and told me to "feel how soft is is!" I felt it and it looked worse and felt drier than when I use my straightener from Walmart.  Another was I couldn't believe (pardon my french lol) how much this piece of crap was!  This lady tried selling me this for $200!  I was like uh, well I need to think about this, and she just kept going on and on oh what do you need to think about you saw the results!  I tried leaving then she followed calling me back and saying oh well I'll give you this shampoo and conditioner for free, I said no and tried to leave again and she came back, oh I'll give it to you for $119!  She also had a paper that looked like she made and printed that was supposedly a lifetime warranty but I just said I had to think about and that I'd come back.  I never came back lol.  When I got home I decided too look up some info on this and most people that bought these got jipped with false advertisement or the straighteners broke and the customers were never able to contact the company.  So I am grateful I didn't fall for this and I want to warn others to not buy something that's either fake or you can get way cheaper on the web.  So beware!  Please checkout this blog lcspeaksout.blogspot.com.  Thanks! =)

Review for Organix Coconut Milk Anit-Breakage Serum

So usually before I buy any kind of beauty product I like to look up reviews on it to see if it's worth buying.  For a while now I've been looking for something to quench my really dry hair.  I went on Makeupalley and Youtube and saw some reviews on this hair serum.  Most of the reviews were positive so I thought I'd give this a shot.  I purchased this from my Walmart for around 6 dollars.  Excited that I finally found something I tried this the night that I bought it and a few times after that.  Unfortunately my results weren't positive.  My hair felt the exact same even after using this for about a week.  The only positive thing I could say about this is that it smelled good and that's about it.  So I will most likely not be purchasing this ever again and I wouldn't recommend it either.  If anyone knows a good hair product for split ends and fall out please let me know!  Thanks!!

About Me

My photo
I'm just a girl who loves fashion, makeup, and life! To me, makeup is art and fashion lets you express yourself to the world. All of my reviews are one hundred percent honest and everything is purchased with my own money. One thing I hate is gurus who don't post an honest opinion because they're getting paid for it. My hope is to one day have a career in cosmetology and make everyone feel great about themselves. So check out my blog if you love makeup and fashion and all that wonderful stuff! Let's get to know each other! Thanks for stoppin by and have a beautiful day!! =)
